About Hot Spring Spa
of North County

Started as a family business in 1985, Hot Spring Spa of North County is an Escondido retail store. With a combined showroom and warehouse in the Autopark area, the nearly 6000 square foot facility displays the finest spas and saunas in the industry.

As proud owners of a Hot Spring Spa since 1978, we have enjoyed our spa and take delight in providing the same satisfaction and relaxation for our customers. To this end, we did our "homework", conducting research to add the finest quality products to our showroom during 25 years of business. Backed by stable manufacturers who support both their dealer network and provide satisfaction to the end consumer, we sell only the finest merchandise to our customers.

In 1987, we added Finnleo Saunas to our product mix. Having close Scandinavian ties, we knew and appreciated the many health benefits associated with saunas. We wanted to offer only a true, authentic Finnish sauna as opposed to an "Americanized" sauna. Finnleo Saunas was selected for their quality, innovative heaters and true Finnish woods. In addition to the traditional Finnish Saunas, we offer infrared heat therapy rooms and combination sauna-infrareds (called Infrasaunas) from Finnleo.

In 1990 we added above ground pools to our product line. Originally, these were metal wall pools, then we added soft sided pools. In 2007, we discontinued the above ground pool lines as import products took over the marketplace.

In the early 1990's, Finnleo steam bath equipment was added as a wonderful compliment to the sauna products. Currently, the store sells steam generators for remodeling and new construction instead of full steam rooms. In 1992, Hot Spring Spa introduced the Tiger River line of spas and then later the Solana, Hot Spot and Limelight Spas came to round out our spa offerings. Now, we import a beautiful line of outdoor furniture products, made of hard wood and cast aluminum.

Throughout nearly 25 years in business, we have chosen to offer quality products with quality accessory items to support our major product lines. Just as we research our larger products, we also research smaller merchandise such as chemicals, toys, gazebos, steps and other spa and sauna accessories or outdoor furniture items. If we wouldn't own it ourselves, we wouldn't ask you to buy it!

As of 2000, there were 26 companies in the Aqua Hall of Fame and we were the ONLY company in the state of California.
2001:	Recipient of KD Pools/Zodiac dealer recognition award.
2002:	Selected "Best Swimming Pool Company" in San Diego by residents who voted at www.bestof.com
2002:	Awarded Gold Club award for sales performance by Watkins Manufacturing.
2003-2004:	First Inaugural recipient of the "Sisu Award--Best All Around Dealer" for Finnleo Saunas. This award includes best overall Display, staff, service, advertising and promotion.
2003-2004:	First Inaugural Recipient of the "Best Sauna and Steam Service Dealer" for Finnleo Saunas.
2004:	2003-2004 Golden Web Award.
2004- 2005:	Second year in a row recipient of the "Best Sauna and Steam Service Dealer" for Finnleo Saunas.
